SUMMARY:International Workshop on Security and Privacy in Intelligent Infrastructures (SP2I)
DESCRIPTION:4th International Workshop on Security and Privacy in Intelligent Infrastructures (SP2I) to be held in the conjunction with the ARES workshops EU Projects Symposium 2024 at the 19th International Conference on Availability\, Reliability and Security. \nRecent years have seen the proliferation of Intelligent Infrastructures (IIs) in domains such as the Internet of Vehicles\, Industrial IoT\, Cyber Manufacturing\, e-Healthcare\, Smart City services\, Smart Grids and Smart Home applications. Intelligent Infrastructure services consist of layers that capture\, exchange and analyze data as well as invoke autonomic responses sometimes supported by emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems. The goal of Intelligent Infrastructures is a higher level of convenience for mankind\, but with those promises have come privacy and security issues and concerns. Therefore\, increasing security and privacy in Intelligent Infrastructures by designing new efficient solutions is an important research direction. Moreover\, quantum-resistant security and connecting privacy with the law are also important research topics nowadays. The SP2I 2024 workshop1 aims to collect the most relevant ongoing research efforts in the field of privacy and security in Intelligent Infrastructures. This workshop also welcomes submissions that deal with interdisciplinary research connecting privacy to law\, formal modeling\, policy\, and data privacy management. The SP2I also serves as a forum for relevant research projects to disseminate their privacy and security-related results and boost future cooperation. \nImportant Dates \n\n\n\nSubmission Deadline\nApril 29\, 2024\n\n\nAuthor Notification\nMay 27\, 2024\n\n\nProceedings Version\nJune 18\, 2024\n\n\nARES EU Symposium\nJuly 30\, 2024\n\n\nARES Conference\nJuly 30 – August 02\, 2024\n\n\n\n  \nPaper Submission Guidelines \nThe paper submission guidelines valid for the workshop are the same as for the ARES conference. SUMMARY:Workshop on Education\, Training and Awareness in Cybersecurity (ETACS)
DESCRIPTION:Workshop on Education\, Training and Awareness in Cybersecurity (ETACS) to be held in the conjunction with the ARES workshops EU Projects Symposium 2024 at the 19th International Conference on Availability\, Reliability and Security.\n\nThe current lack of cybersecurity experts on the world job market is a significant problem that can be solved only by coordinated and focused development of higher education and professional training programs. All topics related to cybersecurity education\, training and awareness will be considered for the Workshop on Education\, Training and Awareness in Cybersecurity (ETACS). ETACS seeks for novel submissions from academia\, government as well as industry contributing to cybersecurity education\, training and awareness. The focus is on practical research into higher-education cybersecurity curricula\, professional training\, building of cyber ranges and their coalitions across Europe\, methods to assess and raise awareness in cybersecurity\, the implementation of systems\, and lessons learned. Furthermore\, the EU-wide agreement on the identification of skills necessary for cybersecurity work roles is one of the main interests of the workshop. The event aims at putting together people form universities\, professional training institutions\, industry\, government and EU agencies to discuss current problems and solutions for cybersecurity education and training.\n\nImportant Dates\n\n\n\nSubmission Deadline\nMay 01\, 2024\n\n\nAuthor Notification\nMay 29\, 2024\n\n\nProceedings Version\nJune 18\, 2024\n\n\nARES EU Symposium\nJuly 30\, 2024\n\n\nARES Conference\nJuly 30 – August 02\, 2024\n\n\n\n \n\nPaper Submission Guidelines \n\nThe paper submission guidelines valid for the workshop are the same as for the ARES conference.
