The CHESS Cyber-Security Excellence Hub Brokerage Event Thaya was organised by Brno University of Technology and CHESS Cyber-Security Excellence Hub partners in the South Moravia region from July 31st to Aug 1st 2024. The goal of the event was to connect people and institutions from different sectors. The government, academia, commercial and public sector representatives were present at the event and discussed the possibilities of collaboration mostly in CHESS Cyber-Security Excellence Hub challenges areas:
CA1 – Internet of Secure Things
CA4 – Security Preservation in Blockchain
CA5 – Post-Quantum Cryptography
During the event, CHESS Cyber-Security Excellence Hub hosted representatives from both smaller (e.g., Tropic Square) and large companies (e.g., IBM). The program contained sections for the introduction of partners, project proposal collaboration, research and development feedback collection, and current market needs analysis. As a result of the event, the consortia for upcoming projects were enriched by new partners and novel opportunities for future collaborations were found.
