    SP2I: 5th International Workshop on Security and Privacy in Intelligent Infrastructures

    Co-organized with ARES 2025.

    The SP2I 2025 workshop aims to collect the most relevant ongoing research efforts in the field of privacy and security in Intelligent Infrastructures. This workshop also welcomes submissions that deal with interdisciplinary research connecting privacy to law, formal modeling, policy, and data privacy management. The SP2I also serves as a forum for relevant research projects to disseminate their privacy and security-related results and boost future cooperation.

    ETACS: 5th workshop on Education, Training, and Awareness in Cybersecurity

    Co-organized with ARES 2025.

    The ETACS 2025 seeks novel submissions from academia, government, and industry that contribute to cybersecurity education, training, and awareness. The focus is on practical research into higher-education cybersecurity curricula, professional training, the building of cyber ranges and their coalitions across Europe, methods to assess and raise awareness in cybersecurity, the implementation of systems, and lessons learned.

    Furthermore, the EU-wide agreement on the identification of skills necessary for cybersecurity work roles is one of the main interests of the workshop. The event aims to gather people from universities, professional training institutions, industry, government, and EU agencies to discuss current problems and solutions for cybersecurity education and training.

    The 30th Nordic Conference on Secure IT Systems

    NordSec is an annual research conference series that has been running since 1996. The NordSec conferences address a broad range of topics on IT security. The events bring together security researchers from the Nordic countries, Northern Europe, and beyond. In addition to being a venue for academic publishing, NordSec is an important meeting place for university faculty, students, and industry researchers and experts from the region.

    ​​The NordSec 2025 places a special emphasis on Security Certification and Standardisation, delving into certification practices and their role in mitigating vulnerabilities within certified products. This year’s conference edition also underscores the evolving landscape of cryptographic protocols and the increasing influence of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) on security and privacy research, recognizing the unique challenges socio-technical system development poses. Key focus areas include complex societal infrastructures, healthcare, smart cities and communities, national security, and various industry sectors such as automotive, energy, and banking.
