The 5th Workshop on education, training, and awareness in cybersecurity (ETACS) took place in Ghent on 11.8.2025. This year, the truly international character of the event was confirmed by Razvan Beuran’s invited talk focusing on the Japanese experience in cybersecurity education.

Furthermore, researchers from multiple countries (Czechia, France, Germany, Italy, Serbia, and the USA) presented their recent works on particular case studies and cyber ranges to curriculum development in cybersecurity education. Besides other topics, the challenges related to education and training at the elementary and high school levels resonated throughout the audience.
