Abstract: This bachelor thesis focuses on building a network infrastructure for testing quantum-safe encryptors. The thesis involved the construction of a network using a virtualized environment and furthermore, performance tests for speeds up to 100 Gbit/s. The tests focus on throughput and latency of unencrypted and then encrypted traffic. Encryption of network traffic was achieved with FPGA-based encryptors and Juniper SRX4200 firewalls. Capabilities of the encryptors were further tested and verified in real-world applications.
