CHESS Technology Transfer Day: Success & Pitfall Stories

FI MUNI, Brno, is organizing a one-day CHESS event in Brno devoted to successful technology transfer achieved in the framework of CHESS.

🕘 Time: 9:00 – 15:00
📍 Location: KYPO room, FI MUNI, Brno
🍽️ Refreshments: Coffee & a light lunch will be provided

The tentative title is “CHESS Technology Transfer Day: Success and Pitfall Stories”.  The event is open to all, and anybody can attend.

The idea is to present examples of successful cooperation between academia and industry. Ideally, each presentation should include representatives from both academia and industry who explain

– The origins of the joint project and its main goals
– What did and did not work (from various perspectives)
– What are the outcomes and benefits (the current and the expected ones)
– What are the main lessons learnt?

The above outline is not rigid. The expected presentation length is between 30-50 minutes.

We agree on the details individually. Then, we assemble & publish the program.

We hope to attract representatives of companies and institutions interested in establishing closer contacts and cooperation with academia.
